Lake Level/Drought

A public notice sent by the Belgrade Area Dams Committee reminds us why our water level is so low. The Belgrade region has had just 3.32" of precipitation in June, 2.03" in July and none to speak of in the past month. With temperatures between 80F and 90F degrees we lose between 3/10" and 6/10" of water daily through evaporation. North Pond is down about a foot despite the dam being closed since early June.

Check your boats on the lifts to be sure you can still get them in the water.
