Adopt-a-Shoreline Volunteer Opportunity

Adopt a shoreline to look for invasive plants! You can adopt your own shoreline or any shore on North Pond and Little North Pond.

Volunteers can survey their adopted shoreline for invasive plants via kayak, standup paddle board, power boat (at idle speed), or even with snorkels or SCUBA.

We encourage you to sign up for a plant identification workshop as part of this program. Workshops are held weekly by 7 Lakes Alliance in Belgrade Lakes throughout the summer. You can see their workshop schedule on their website.
