The Loon Count occurs on the third Saturday of July from 7am to 7:30am. 

This year the date was July 16 and the weather was cool with wind and the threat of rain. There were 12 adult loons sighted in North Pond and 1 in Little Pond. Earlier in the month a baby loon was sighted with two adult loons nearby. Once again, our volunteers  were eager to participate and all groups returned their paper work so that we know all areas were reported.  Thank you to everyone for caring and volunteering another year.
