Join us for a plant paddle on June 4th at 9am at the public boat launch to ID Curly-leaf Pondweed
Please AVOID boating in areas marked by colored "noodle" buoys which indicate locations of the invasive CLPW. Divers from 7 Lakes Alliance are out twice a week to remove the plants. North Ponders, PLEASE check your props after boating and remove any plant material. Let's all do our part to help our ponds!

North Pond Surface Use Restriction
To protect divers who are working to remove the invasive plant, Curly-Leaf Pondweed and to limit the spread of the invasive plants, the Maine Department of Environmental Protection and Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife have issued a surface use restriction for parts of North Pond. North Pond Dam petition ruling from the Maine DEP
North Pond Dam on Great Meadow Stream The final findings of fact and order for the North Pond Water Level Hearing can be found on the North Pond Association website under our HOME tab and public files. No changes need to be made to the structure of the dam. The order provides appropriate guidelines for management of the dam very similar to how the NPA has managed the dam for the past several years.
