Become a Courtesy Boat Inspector (CBI)
Trained CBIs alert boaters to the risks posed by invasive aquatic species, show boaters how to inspect and remove vegetation from boating and fishing equipment, and urge boaters to inspect prior to launch and after retrieval for every excursion onto Maine’s waters.
Help protect North Pond from invasive aquatic species by volunteering to be a Courtesy Boat Inspector. Paid CBIs are not always available. The NPA is committed to volunteer coverage at the public boat launch in Smithfield each Wednesday in June, July, and August.
