North Pond Surface Use Restriction

To protect divers who are working to remove the invasive plant, Curly-Leaf Pondweed and to limit the spread of the invasive plants, the Maine Department of Environmental Protection and Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife have issued a surface use restriction for parts of North Pond. Buoys marking the restricted areas will be placed later this Spring. The restriction is in effect from April 1st through December 31st and subject to annual renewal.
